<description>I just found a copy of these incredible BOMB from a
fleamarket round my block in Helsinki, Finland!
I have no idea how it had landed there between
80&#039;s disco compilations and Finnish choir records,
but apparently neither did the seller, since he
practically gave it away (i payed with some coins).

The cover isn&#039;t original, but somebody has obviously
loved the record, since s/he has made a made a new
one and adorned it with a beautiful drawing of Masekela . (New cover is done on a flip-side of John Lee Hooker
record cover!)

Now I&#039;m wondering if my pressing is the original
from 1973. The label in the centre has mostly black
print on white background (and some blue print too),
red logo and a blue thumb print on top of that.
Much obliged if you can shed some light on this.

Well, the important thing is the music on this album
- and it just blows me away: such power!</description>

<description>I agree wholeheartedly with what the reviewer says about this album. I originally bought this in London in about 1976 purely on impulse and it became one of my all-time favourites. Unbelievably, for an album this good and with it&#039;s unique vibe, it must have been quite rare as I never saw another copy or reference to it for many a year. Unfortunately, it went &#039;walkies&#039;, along with other cherished pieces of vinyl, after one of many parties in the 80&#039;s where the rarer and more obscure records would receive an airing.

I have been using Spotify online to wake up to and catch up with my favourite music but they have no reference to Hedzoleh Soundz. This prompted me to do a web search and to my surprise and joy I found it possible to download mp3 versions of the album tracks. Unfortunately there is no groovy vinyl album cover but the sounds are there. It will now become regular in-car listening and I look forward to introducing more people to it.
